About Alex + Caleb’s Session
Where oh where could we find a location that 1) had the most incredible views, 2) had tons of adventure waiting, and 3) felt entirely authentic to Alex and Caleb? We landed on Piney River Ranch! Just outside of Vail, CO. And oh boy, was this location an adventure to get to in itself! An 11-mile, 20 MPH dirt road will take you up and down a mountainside — A very windy and beautiful 40 minutes. It is worth every second of it!
When we arrived, we checked into our glamping tent, and began our photo session there with some sweet and casual shots. Afterwards, we headed down to the water and jumped in a canoe for some of the most epic photos thanks to the mountainous background! And after we all felt canoed-out, we headed back to our tent for some relaxation fireside, complete with roasting marshmallows. But not without a pitstop first to run through some wildflowers.
