We just wrapped up a jam-packed weekend at Whispering Hearts Event Center in Oregonia, Ohio, celebrating our newlyweds, Kyerston and Spencer! But before we dive fully into all these romantic and timeless wedding festivities, we need to start with the rehearsal dinner.
The Rehearsal Dinner
We drove into Lebanon, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati, on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. Our sweet wedding couple was so kind as to book our accommodations at The Golden Lamb Restaurant and Hotel, where they also hosted their rehearsal dinner. If you’re looking for a historic and well-preserved location to either visit or stay, this is the place for you! The antique furnishings were simply perfect, and it was very cool to know we stayed where so many presidents, and greats such as Charles Dickens and Mark Twain, have also stayed.
And the food? PHENOMENAL.
The Wedding Day
Oh boy… Where do we even start? We truly just had the BEST time with Kyerston, Spencer, their wedding party, and friends and family. All of that began when we arrived at the Whispering Hearts Event Center that Saturday morning as both the ladies and gents were getting ready.
While makeup was being applied and suits put on, the wedding coordinator Jaiden was making sure the timeless and romantic wedding decor was being perfectly set up. Think lots of white florals, black cloths, and accents of pinks and golds! Once everyone was ready, we moved right into the first looks (which we just LOVE for sooo many reasons!).
One of the best reasons to consider a first look is so you can do all of your wedding photography portraits immediately after, before your ceremony. In Kyerston and Spencer’s case, doing so left them with quite a bit of well-deserved downtime prior to the ceremony (which was GORGEOUS, by the way).
The newlyweds said “I do,” had a few drinks and took some photos with family, and made their way into the reception! And trust us… This reception was WILD. Party central! Just the best group of people you could ask for to make a truly memorable wedding night. Of course, major props to Cincy Entertainment Services for dropping the beats and keeping the party going all night long!
We just delivered Kyerston and Spencer’s Preview Gallery (which ending up being a few hundred photos… whoops…), and they just landed in Jamaica. CHEERS to these two! We absolutely loved documenting this chapter of their love story!
